    Objectives 目标

    One of the biggest challenges a global leader can face is integrating teams and organizations after a corporate merger or acquisition. When done well, integrated teams bring shared history and wisdom to meeting new client and market needs and often find new opportunities to grow faster and better than they would individually. Since the success of most M&A programs are not tied to cultural indicators though leaders are measured and measure success often in performance and economic indicators.

    As global business guru Peter Drucker told us many years ago, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast” and the best laid strategy can often be slowed or damaged by not getting the integration correct.  In this roundtable participants will look at the 3I model of M&A success Identify, Interpret and Integrate to see how managers can better manage a new integrated culture and speed up the success of new teams.

    As a roundtable, participants are encouraged to bring their experience and best practices to share within the facilitated structure.

    全球领导者面临的最大挑战之一是在企业合并或收购后整合团队和组织。如果这方面做好了,则整合后的团队将可以共享历史和智慧,以满足新的客户和市场需求,发现新机会。与单打独斗的企业比较,整合后的组织将会获得更快、更优质的增长机会。尽管领导者的成功大抵通过绩效和经济指标衡量,但是,却鲜有人将大多数并购项目的成功因素与文化指标挂钩。

    At the end of this facilitated roundtable participants will be able to bring back tips and structured approach provided by our facilitator from Sino Associates and well as merge these tips and practices with the experiences and suggestions from other participants to improve their results at work.

    In addition to structure and best practices, Sino Associates will facilitate the discussion by bringing cases they have observed and been a part of over the past decade to share critical successes and failures in real cases.

    John Dorris

    John is a Founder and the Chief Cultural Officer of Sino Associates with more than 18 years of training, coaching, and facilitation experience in Asia, including 16 years of leadership development experience in China. John developed tens of thousands of professionals in leadership practices across Asia and North America to develop a shared vision for the future, create alignment and drive engagement.  

    His signature Global Leadership course enables leaders to achieve greater business results across regions and cultures using the 3A© framework for building cultural Awareness, Adapting to diverse teams and business perspectives, and creating improved Access to resources and new markets. 

    John was born in Singapore, raised in a US diplomatic family and brings a wealth of knowledge to his clients having lived and worked in nine countries.
