    什么是全球月球营地全球挑战赛

    全球月球营地(Moon Camp)挑战赛由欧洲航天局(ESA)、航空巨头空中客车基金会(Airbus Foundation)以及全球科技巨头Autodesk联合发起。让学生通过使用3D数字设计软件(如Tinkercad等)解决月球相关问题的方案,为人类探索太空梦想贡献力量。

    Moon Camp is an education project run in collaboration between ESA and the Airbus Foundation, in partnership with Autodesk. It uses innovative learning technologies to challenge students to design their own Moon settlement with a 3D design tool.

    学生将通过3D数字设计软件合作设计,解决如月球土壤中冰的提取技术,获得饮用水的解决方案;营地供电系统、循环系统的设计;食物的获取和食品生长室保护,免受陨石和辐射损害等问题。将完成的3D概念模型在线提交,随后由来自欧洲宇航局,空中客车与AUTODESK的科学家、宇航员与专业设计师工程师组成的评审委员会进行评审。

    Students will collaborate through 3D digital design software to design a lunar base to solve the problems on moon, including extraction of ice from lunar soil and obtain solutions for drinking water, as well as  power supply system and circulation system in camp; Access to food and food growth chamber protection from meteorites and radiation damage.Students submit the completed 3D concept model online, which is then reviewed by a panel of scientists, astronauts and professional designers and engineers from the European space agency, airbus and AUTODESK.

    All teams will receive a participation certificate by email. The winning teams of the Moon Camp Explorers will receive ESA and Airbus goodies and the opportunity to participate in a live webinar with an ESA’s astronaut.

    In the future, to enable astronauts to stay on the Moon for long periods of time, new infrastructures must be developed to overcome important challenges. Such challenges include protection from radiation and meteorites, energy production, the extraction and recycling of water, food production and much more. The Moon Camp Challenge invites students to explore the Moon and decode some of the complexities future astronauts may face.

    Participant:students aged up to 18 years old

    Deadline:25 March 2020.

    Teams must be comprised of a minimum of 2 up to a maximum of 6 students and must be supported by a teacher or mentor.

    Moon Camp Discovery is a non-competitive mission for beginners. All teams that submit an entry that complies with the guidelines will receive a participation certificate and their project will be shared on the Moon Camp online platform.

    In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design the complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad and explain their project in a written report to the expert jury. The Moon Camp should be able to sustain at least 2 astronauts and keep them safe from hazards and the vacuum of space. The project should include:– Use of local resources (e.g. lunar soil, water ice)– Technological solutions (e.g. power source, recycling system, food growth chamber)– Protection (from meteorites and radiation)– Living and working facilities for the astronauts.

    学生们将使用ESA的教育资源,空客基金会的动画和设计工具Tinkercad 来创建他们的月球营地,提出许多创意、创新的设计。Tinkercad是一款面向大众的在线免费软件,集3D建模,电子电路设计,以及编程于一个软件平台。全球已经有超过2300万注册用户。

    In previous challenges, students have used ESA's educational resources and design tool Tinkercad to create their lunar camp, coming up with many creative, innovative designs.Tinkercad is an online free software forthe masses that integrates 3D modeling, electronic circuit design, andprogramming into a software platform. There are already more than 23 millionregistered users worldwide.
